Hero is a very handsome and talented CHAMPION who consistently produces puppies that conform to the Labrador Retriever Club breed standard and make charming hunting companions and pets. In addition to his terrific blocky, "show dog" good looks, he has the drive and desire to be a good Hunt and Field Test competitor and Hunting dog. Hero is now a Champion Master Hunter! Hero completed the requirements for his AKC Master Hunter Title on July 1, 2007 under respected judges Bob Reckart and Bruce Smith at the Presque Isle Retriever Club Summer Hunt Test and has joined the exclusive ranks of CH, MH Labrador Retrievers as the 41st Champion Master Hunter in the history of the breed. Hero is also a NAHRA Master Hunting Retriever.
In addition, Hero is a Specialty Winner, having won Best in Show at the Labrador Retriever Club of the Potomac fall Barebones Show in October of 2007. He has multiple Best of Breed wins.
Hero made his debut in the Obedience Ring this winter, as he has exhibited such a delight in all forms of training that we had to do something different! He qualified in three straight trials to complete his Rally Novice title.
Hero has sired not only numerous Hunt and Field Test title winners, but also Conformation Specialty Winners, Champions.

 Queenie is a sweet and affectionate girl who came to us from Texas. She has been a lovely dog to train and have around, a very loving dog who loves to retrieve on land and water. Her mother is a well trained hunting dog (AFC Hawkeye's Viking daughter) with a nice pedigree including FC AFC Wilderness Harley to Go and FC AFC Candlewoods Captain Kid. She will be starting in hunt tests this fall after this litter. She weighs about 60 pounds.
